How to connect with a child who does not already have a Gimi account:
Go to the home screen and tap “Add child”.
Select “My child is new to Gimi”.
Enter your child’s name.
Enter your child’s age.
Invite your child via SMS or email. This will be your child’s login information for the Gimi app.
Once you have completed the steps above, an invitation link will be sent to your child’s phone number or email address. Your child should install the Gimi app using this link and then log in with the same email address or phone number you used to send the invitation.
How to connect with a child who already has a Gimi account:
Go to the home screen and tap “Add child”.
Select “My child already has an account”.
Connect via SMS, Email, shared link or QR code. Choose SMS if your child created their account using a phone number, and email if they created their account using an email address. We recommend using the QR code if you’re sitting next to each other!
