To get started with Gimi, your child needs a personal account login. For security, we have to send a unique code to either their email or phone to confirm their identity during login.
Here's how you can help your child get going with Gimi.
Create an email for your child:
This process doesn't take long. You can sign up for a new email with various email providers. We suggest using Google Gmail.
Borrow from a family member:
Use a phone number or an email that belongs to a family member that is not using Gimi. Or an extra email you as a parent have. The unique login code will be sent there.
Share your own email with your child:
If you'd like your child to utilize your email for accessing Gimi, you can establish an alias specifically for them.
Here's how: When inputting the email address, begin with your own. Following your nickname, insert a '+' sign, then incorporate the alias you prefer for your child. This enables that all childrens email from Gimi will be sent to your inbox.
