Once you have created both your own account and your child's account, you can choose which functions you want to use. You do this in the parent app.
On the Children home page, tap "+ Add". The available functions are:
Bank account 👑
Demo account
Weekly/monthly allowance
Chores
Learning
Savings goal 👑
Statistics 👑
Family mission 👑
👑 = These functions are part of Gimi Pro.
If you have access to Gimi through one of our partner banks, Gimi Pro may already be included with your bank account. In that case, you already have access to all Gimi Pro functions and do not need to purchase a separate Gimi Pro subscription.
If you are not using Gimi through a partner bank and do not have a Gimi Pro subscription, the functions marked with 👑 will not be available to you.
How do functions work?
Functions control the content and features available in both your and your child's app. For example, if you want to set up a weekly or monthly allowance, you first need to add the Weekly/monthly allowance function. Once you have added it, you can tap the function on the home screen and choose how you want the allowance to work.
Some functions, such as Family mission and Chores, are used continuously and allow you to interact with these features directly in the app.
You can add more functions later if you want to. However, once a function has been added, it cannot be removed.
